Product Description

The KRG diffusion strainer is a new type of pump inlet strainer that integrates pipeline debris removal, filtration, elbow fittings, and reducers into a single, comprehensive unit. The diffusion strainer naturally disperses the flow, reducing flow velocity within the pipeline. It further moderates the flow velocity during transit and uses internal guide plates to disperse the fluid and ensure uniform flow velocity distribution, thereby ensuring the long-term, stable operation of the pump.

  1. The strainer is installed directly at the pump inlet to guide the flow, providing a balanced water flow to the pump and protecting its impeller. It stabilizes the water flow, improves pump efficiency, and extends the pump’s service life.
  2. Diffusion strainers utilize stainless steel mesh with a large filtration area, which reduces pressure loss and resistance. They are suitable for a variety of installation conditions and can be installed horizontally or vertically, minimizing the required installation space and reducing installation costs. These strainers serve as replacements for 90-degree elbows, reducers, other strainers, and flow straightening tubes.
